Even after believing the gospel, when faced with the choices of each day, we may look first for the way that is comfortable for us. While saying that we are thankful to the Lord, when we are asked what we actually want to do, it is always only our own plans that come first. Then, when someone urges us, we move a little, and when no one urges us, we stop again. When we look back on such a state, what we need is not someone who will push us harder, but to examine whom we believe and whose will we are trying to follow. A heart that believes in the Lord who saved us must be open toward the life He wants.
