Show Notes

When we think about what to eat today and what to wear tomorrow, there are times when our hearts are completely gripped by the problems of daily living. Even though we believe in the Lord, since what we need right now is before our eyes, we are afraid that we may not be able to provide it. Jesus, telling such disciples not to worry, first reminded them of the fact that life is more than food and the body is more than clothing. This does not mean that food and clothing are not needed; it means that God has already given the life and the body that these are to take care of. If we look only at the means of maintaining the gift while forgetting the One who gave the gift, our hearts grow more anxious as what we have decreases.
